Awakening is our Youth Ministry program at Gawler Uniting Church for years 7-12, during our Sunday Worship Gatherings.
The name is significant to us because as young Christians, it explains that we are still at the beginning of our journey. In this way, we are still “waking up” to see God’s wonders. We have based our values around Jeremiah 29:13. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”.
We want our youth to know that they are unconditionally loved, they can serve others the way Jesus served, and that they can own their own faith.
