SUNDAY WORSHIP GATHERING – 10.00am
What to Expect
Come along early at 9.30am for barista coffee in the newer church hall.
The service itself begins at 10.00am and is a contemporary worship experience, held in the historic church building, with a heart to see all generations connected through worship and authentic community. The teaching aims to be biblically based, engaging and relevant to the everyday challenges of life. You can expect the service to go for about 70 minutes.
Young Families
We have an area near the back of the worship space, where families with young children are welcome to play.
Kingdom Kids & Awakening
During the school terms, we run an interactive and engaging program for children from R – Yr 12. The young people begin the service with the rest of our community, then head out with our leaders about half way through the service. They explore faith in age appropriate ways with bible stories, games, discussion and of course snacks. After all of that, they can run around on our playground and outdoor play space.

During the school terms, we run an interactive and engaging program for Children from R- Yr 6 during our Sunday Worship Gathering. They explore faith with bible stories, games, and exploring in our community garden. After all of that, they can run around on our playground and outdoor play space. Follow the Kingdom Kids Facebook page for regular updates.
Kingdom kids helps young people understand three important truths; that God loves them, that they can trust God no matter what and that they can love others the way Jesus loves them.
Awakening is our Youth Ministry program at Gawler Uniting Church for youth in years 7-12, during our Sunday Worship Gatherings.
The name is significant to us because as young Christians, it explains that we are still at the beginning of our journey. In this way, we are still “waking up” to see God’s wonders. We have based our values around Jeremiah 29:13. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”.
We want our youth to know that they are unconditionally loved, they can serve others the way Jesus served, and that they can own their own faith.

We believe life is better connected into community. It is in community that we grow best both relationally and spiritually. We know others better, and are truly known when we make time to do life with 8-20 other people on a regular basis. We have Life Groups that gather weekly, fortnightly or monthly, across every stage of life. They all look different, yet all have 4 things in common. They gather around hospitality, to open Gods word, share about life and faith, and pray together. If you want to be involved in a Life Group, fill out the form below and we’ll connect you with a Life Group Leader.
Men’s Gym
Men’s Gym is a special type of Life Group, focused on connecting men together through training and physical exercise. It is free to attend, and is held Monday nights, 7.00pm in the Gawler Uniting Hall.

Gawler Uniting Men’s Fellowship (GUMF) has a long history of providing a place for men to connect, share and find support. It is open to men of any age, and gathers on the first Thursday of every month. See our Newsletter for further details of specific events.
Women’s Fellowship
The Gawler Evening Women’s Fellowship is a warm and friendly gathering of women from the broader Gawler district. It is a chance for women of all ages to come together and spend time together. They often have interesting key-note speakers from around the area, or go on field trips. They gather on the first Thursday of every month. See our Newsletter for further details of specific events.
Craft Group
On the second Tuesday of each month at 9.30am, craft enthusiasts gather in the church hall to work on their current project, and spend time in community. All are welcome.
