We believe God calls us to be actively involved in our community of faith. To call Gawler Uniting home, we invite members to consider investing in four key areas of faith and community life.

Show Up (Sunday Services)

Showing up can be the biggest challenge, when life is challenging and complicated. Yet we believe that a church community has the biggest impact when it is full of people committed to showing up for worship and other events, to bless one another.

Join In (Service Teams)

As followers of Jesus, we are called to be active in our faith, and use the gifts that God has given us, for the benefit of the community we are called to be a part of. Getting involved through serving others is a key way that God builds our faith, and strengthens our connecting in community.

Be Real (Life Groups)

Life is better connected. We believe Life Groups are a core part of having a living and vibrant faith. We find meaningful relationships, develop a deeper understanding of God and ourselves, find accountability, and support when we need it most. To know others, and be truly known, is one of the most life-giving things we can experience.

Give Back (Tithe)

We believe in the spiritual discipline of the tithe. Simply it is the call of God to place Him first in the area of finances, by giving the first 10% of what we have back to God through the work of the local church. It is a step of faith, which invites us to give God our first and best, and trust him with the rest. For those that have never given before, this can feel like a big commitment, but the invitation is to start with something, and build up in response to God’s faithfulness in your life.
